Dr Hong is an international fellowship trained surgeon with an interest in corneal transplant, cultured cell therapy, refractive surgery, cataract surgery, and eyelid pathology. An advocate for global eye health, Dr. Hong is a pioneer in innovative ocular technology and surgical techniques. Based in Dunedin, he is widely recognized as one of the foremost specialists in cataract, cornea, and anterior segment treatments. With an annual experience of over 1,000 cataract surgeries, and over 10,000 successful procedures under his belt, Dr. Hong has also been instrumental in the development of the Otago Nurse Intravitreal Injection Programme and is the esteemed author of the Otago Handbook of Ophthalmology. Dr Hong enjoys fly fishing around Southland and County Mackenzie.

Dr Chiu is an international-fellowship trained surgeon with an interest in oculoplastic and ocular oncology. She did her basic medical training in Australia, speciality training in New Zealand, and finally her fellowship in Scotland. Dr Chiu has a passion in complex peri-ocular malignancy management and reconstructive surgeries. She is based between Queenstown and Dunedin and offers her services in both public and private sectors. Dr Chiu is the sole oculoplastic surgeon at the Dunedin public hospital. Mimi enjoys tramping with her family.

Dr Binsadiq is a vitreoretinal surgeon trained in New Zealand. He specialises in both medical and surgical retina disorders. He is based between Hamilton and Dunedin, offering his services in both public and private sectors. Ammar enjoys skiing in Queenstown.

Dr Silkiss is an oculoplastic surgeon with over 30 years of clinical experience. She is a New York City native, and works between San Francisco (US) and Queenstown (NZ). Dr Silkiss specializes in eyelid, tear ducts, and orbital surgeries. Dr Silkiss has a special interest in thyroid eye disease. She is an avid yoga practitioner, hiker, and world traveler.
