You will require a thorough eye assessment with our team. Our assessment includes eye measurements, prescription determination, and eye health screen to ensure laser vision correction is right for you.
Does laser eye surgery hurt?
Does laser eye surgery hurt?
No. Numbing eye drops will be applied. You will not feel pain during the procedure. You may experience mild discomfort for the first 2 - 3 days. PRK laser may take longer to heal.

Your pre-surgery and aftercare will be done locally in Queenstown or Dunedin. The actual laser vision correction will be done at our dedicated partner centre in Christchurch.
